ANZAC Day
Each year on the 25th April, ANZAC DAY is celebrated throughout Australia and New Zealand and globally.
MELBOURNE (VIC) - Monday 25th April City Parade
Dear fellow Veteran
I trust you are well and had a wonderful Easter break!
Attached is a summary for Monday's march in the City, If you have not given this any thought as yet please join us, I assure you that you will make a difference. SAMVOA needs your support as we commemorate our fallen on the day.
The weather appears to be fine for Monday so far which is good news and a short summary as follows;
Assemble at 10.30am Flinders St South - at the NGV Building, keep a lookout look for the SAMVOA Standard or Banner
SAMVOA and South African Veterans will march behind India and in front of the Rhodesian allies
Step off is at 11.20am
Dress code SAMVOA 1a, SAMVOA or Corps beret, full service medals on the left breast, a limit of one set of forebears medals on the right breast and no commemoration medals to be worn please
Men, if you do not have SAMVOA kit a jacket and tie or a lounge suite is acceptable, ladies commensurate. No jeans to be worn please.
