Dinner @ Ales On Albert 

Join us for dinner at Ales on Albert on Friday the 30th August 2024. This month we are having a South African theme to our dinner with traditional South African Cuisine and entertainment. The dinner will also recognise a significant South African military event known as Boshoed Dag (Bush Hat Day) SAMVOA Warragul Chairman Gavin Jones and Veteran Kevin Edwards will share information about the South African 23 year war on the Namibian border. Boshoed Dag is a Remembrance Day, recognising the beginning of what South Africans call the “Border War”, which started on the 26th August, 1966 and concluded 23 years, 6 months, 3 weeks and 2 days later, following the signing of the Three Powers Accord, also known as the Tripartite Accord on 22 December 1988.

The Warragul SAMVOA Members meet at the Ales on Albert at the Warragul RSL on the first and third Friday of each month from 5pm to around 7pm.
